I have three sons that I am very proud of. Jeremy in the photo is my youngest (15) and is the only one still at home. Jared ( 21) lives in Vancouver, Canada, and Shane(34) lives in Kelowna, B.C. I have been a writer since 1959 when I wrote diving columns for Canadian daily newspapers and magazines, and was national news and features writer for the Canadian Air Force in Ottawa in the early 60s. Since then I done a bit of everything including conducting body-building contests that included Arnold Schwarzenegger and Franco Columbu and publishing a bodybuilding magazine called Looking Good.

I was an abalone and sea urchin diver in the North Pacific Ocean in the 70s and this year published a book a book called "When Devil Fish Come Out To Play" based on my diving experiences.  I am now writing another book called "Passive Predators - The Jellyfish Invasions" and hoping to find a major publisher for it.
